Since the 125th anniversary re-enactments of the Civil War from
1986-1990, it's been a common
practice at larger national anniversary events to have a film crew shoot something
of
the weekend, but rarely is a project done as elaborately, or with as much attention
to detail as the filming of the 145th Gettysburg re-enactment.
LionHeart FilmWorks, North Bridge Entertainment and director
Kevin R. Hershberger
("Wicked Spring") have produced the new feature-length docu-drama
film "Gettysburg:
Darkest Days & Finest Hours" with a majority of the film elements shot
at
the national 145th anniversary event.
The 2-disc DVD released in November 2008, and is for sale from
this website,
at historical retailers around the country and at shops in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
